Pasalimani
Lets begin our walk in the heart of the city from Zea, the famous Pasalimani, where most Piraeus residents and others gather. It's a place that attracts the interest of both the Greek and foreign tourists, as it has been noticed. While we walk down Tryf. Moutsopoulou coast, to the left we see fast foods and coffee shops. On the sidewalks there are tables under umbrellas for food and drink, where anyone could relax watching the people passing by, since it is the favorite walking place of the locals.

Mikrolimano
Also known as Tourkolimano, the small harbor of Mounihias as the ancient called it, is the most beautiful of Piraeus' natural harbors. It has a lot of boats, yachts and other ships anchored and preserves until our days an illusion of the long gone time of sails. Many cafeterias and clubs are found across the coast. The traditional taverns are, without exaggerating, right next to the sea and offer a variety of fresh fish in very low prices. The cafeterias during the summer and spring also serve outside by the sea. Icons and scents mix and charm the visitor. Mikrolimano combines traditional with modern influences. The whole year it gives the feeling of a Greek island because of the sea and stores. Do not forget to visit the crown jewel of the area, on the left side of the harbor, the luxurious and impressive bar of the Greek Nautical Club, known as "Istioploikos".

Train Station
One of the oldest and most imposing buildings of Piraeus. Built in the beginning of Greece's modernization, was one of the first major transportation projects of the country. It was of the utmost importance because it connected the port with the rest of Greece via railroad. Today it houses the train station. From the first steps, inside the visitor is overwhelmed with respect for the building and its symbolism. It helps you travel in other times, perhaps harsher perhaps more beautiful... Wherever you decide to go, the journey begins here!
